Bamboo is harvested and replenished with no impact to the environment. It can be selectively harvested annually and is capable of complete regeneration without need to replant. Bamboo is an enduring natural resource and provides income, food, and housing to over 2.2 billion people.
Bamboo Carmelization
Carmelized bamboo is a light brown, amber shade, similar to a light cherry stain. This soothing and warm light brown color is achieved through a steaming process. The color is not a stain, it continues through the plys, so it won’t scratch off or wear uneven and the best part is that it requires no chemicals or solvents!
